  • VVNK JANE PLUS, launched by Wanqu Group and designer Ning Chang, is a highly conceptual and stylized fashion brand for urban mature women.
    VVNK JANE PLUS 是万趣集团与设计师常宁合作，面向都市成熟女性市场推出的高度概念化、风格化的时装品牌。
  • Originally commissioned by DevolutioN, VVNK JANE PLUS's Grand Gateway Shanghai store contains a large building damper. This space limitation, which seems incompatible with women’s fashion, became the conceptual entry point for the store design. On one hand, the building damper serves as a dramatic element that prompts us to consider the relations between old and new, cold and warm, rigid and soft, which are also core concepts in designs by VVNK JANE PLUS; on the other hand, it reminds us of the relationship between a single floor with the entire building, just like how a piece of clothing is related to the aesthetic of its time.
    在最初委托 DevolutioN 退化建筑 设计的上海港汇恒隆广场店，门店内部贯穿着一个大型的建筑阻尼器局部，这个看起来与女性时装格格不入的"空间限制"后来成为 VVNK JANE PLUS 门店设计的概念入口。一方面它为空间设计提供了一个戏剧化的元素，促使我们去考虑旧与新、冷与暖、刚与柔——这些同时也是 VVNK JANE PLUS 品牌在服装设计中在处理的对立和融合关系；另一方面，它延展了我们对平层空间的纵深认识，提醒我们去关注一个店铺与一栋建筑的空间联系，如同一件服装同一个时代的审美联系。

  • Therefore, in addition to providing suitable displays for the garments, we hope the store could be a theatrical stage, bringing “casual daily drama” to urban women's social life. Thus, we used a contrast between scenes and materials to enhance the theatrical atmosphere. We intercepted a scene of a cosmopolitan hotel lobby, retained elements such as the modern carpet, revolving door, patterns made with a waterjet, copper doorknobs and the elevator while using copious industrial materials to echo the concept advocated by VVNK JANE PLUS, “understand the old to explore the new”. The “elevator” that occupies the visual center acts as an extension of the space perception prompted by the building damper.
    因此除了给予服装良好的展示效果，我们也希望 VVNK JANE PLUS 的门店是一个有戏剧性的舞台，提供给都市女性社交生活中那些"不繁杂的日常Drama"。我们采用场景与材质的对立去强化戏剧感——截取了一个大都会样式的酒店大堂场景，保留其颇具时代感的地毯、旋转门大理石水刀拼花、铜质门把手、电梯等元素，同时运用大面积的工业感材质转化，去呼应 VVNK JANE PLUS 提倡的"格物致新的时髦"。而占据视觉中心并贯穿顶部的"电梯"则是港汇恒隆店内建筑阻尼器所提供的空间认识的延伸。
